Having a great SP can turn that frown upside down!

This has not been the best week… I won’t go into the low-lights becuase this post is about the highlights, my Secret Pal!

On Tuesday I got a great e-card, really cute and made me smile.

Then yesterday B said a package came for me… I brought it with me to SLK last night so that the opening would have the approprite audience! Many thanks to Amber for the photo documentary.

I arrived very excited (ok, it looks deranged, but I was going for excited!

Then the opening began…
A card, some note cards, a pocket calendar (perhaps there’s hope I will be organized in ’07), and some bubble bath.
You want to know what else? Well… Yarn of course! Beautiful Briar Rose (Tuscany I think) and she sent along a great pattern as well.

I really feel blessed to have such a great pal. Now, I have to get some things done so I can knit with this beautiful stuff!!

Thanks SP!

  2. Yay! I’m glad you liked it. I fell in love with that Tuscany yarn and thought the colors were perfect for this time of year. Sorry that the color ran out on the pattern print-out. I had *no* idea how to refill it and DH wasn’t home, but the URL has a *much* better photo! Have a great weekend!

  3. I am so jealous! The gifties in that package look so wonderful! Maybe once my kids get a little bigger, I’ll have time to sign up for fun things like this!

  4. What a wonderful package. That Briar Rose yarn is beautiful.
I love the deranged photo – that’s pretty much the look I get when I get a surprise from my Sockret Pal!
