Warm Fuzzies!

Filed under: General — by bethc @ 12:52 pm

Completely stolen post… care of Mama Sutra
In the hopes of combating some of the general negativity out there in the blogosphere this week, The Pajama Mama had a great idea about how to spread the love instead. Here’s how it goes:

Bloggin’ Good Blogger Days
Your mission, shall you choose to accept it (and you will), is to go to as many blogs as you can and point out at least one good thing about the author of that blog. Do your best to give them a warm fuzzy feeling. Show your appreciation, admiration or plain old joy.

Tell them why something they did touched you, why a choice they made shows the true fabric of their moral being. Just go BE NICE to every blogger who’s blog you read today. And don’t be shy, either!!

Plus, post an entry similar to this one on YOUR blog and ask people to leave warm fuzzies in your comments. Spread the love, people!

Maybe if we take a week to engage in warm fuzzies, they will become a more permanent part of our daily lives, both on and off the computer.

In review:

1. Leave me a warm fuzzy in my comments.

2. Post a similar entry (or copy and paste this one, giving credit) on your own blog.

3. Leave a warm fuzzy on every blog you visit today.

4. Sit back, read your own warm fuzzies and feel, well, warm and fuzzy!

Enjoy!

This sounds like a great idea to me. Let’s get all warm and fuzzy on each other!

  1. Ack! Just posted on my own blog, so I can’t do #2, but I will say we had a great time with you all this morning and you’re doing great on Birch! AND I am really looking forward to teaching these new kiddos to knit this year with you!

  2. Hi Beth! It was great meeting you tonight. I didn’t realize that you are teaching with Julie! I have emailed back and forth with her a couple of times. When you mentioned that you taught your students to knit, I thought of her but didn’t put the two and two together. She has been interested in going to out SNB meeting in Clarendon since she lives in Arlington. Maybe she can come out to Fairfax with you sometime? 🙂 Have a great week. (PS – I got your blog link from Nina’s blog.) (PPS – I also already did a post today so I will save this post for a day in the near future. :))

  5. I live every day leaving warm fuzzies – not a new concept here! 🙂 And in that spirit, may I say Kudos on your Birch? Lovely! Someone in our knitting group has knit two of those, and she loves the pattern, and they do come out nice, don’t they?
