It’s been a while since my last package arrived, but the plague flu has put a damper on my blogging.
It was so much fun being a part of SP9. I had great fun spoiling Holly (check out the great drive she is running!) and even more fun being spoiled by Carol! Is that wrong? I know it’s better to give than to receive, but you know, receiving is fun!! I’m looking forward to SP10 now!
There was a great selection in my last package. There was a Wonder Knitter. Bunny tried it out and declared “I think it’s for five-year-olds, not four-year-olds, you can save it.” I already have a bunch of uses in mind!
There was this cool looking Dynasty Yarn. Two balls, I’m sure I will come up with something great for this!
There was also beautiful note cards and a whole bunch of notions! Buttons, ribbons, a tape measure, yarn needles, I know I’m missing things!
Finally, take a look at this! Yup, that’s Sari Silk!!! I can’t wait. Anyone know how much of this it would take to make a Claoptis? I think some people have done it and I think it would show it off so nicely.
Of course, the most popular part of the gift at our house was…
wait for it…
think, I have a pre-schooler and cats…
did you guess?
It’s the box!

Thanks Carol! You Rock!!

Hee hee! Glad you liked it, but I think my handwriting must have been sloppy. (My name is Carol, not Mary
) It was fun spoiling you. Happy knitting!!!

Cool–a wonder knitter! I have been wanting one of those little gadgets.
The picture of your son and the cat are awesome!

Apparently children and cats have more in comon than you think! They both seem to love boxes!

Thanks for the comment on my Big Bad Baby Blanket. I see you’ve been sick, I hope you are feeling better now. I’ve done a couple of Secret Pal exchanges, so much fun.
